Mi Hijo/a

Khadija

Since 30% of my friend are starting their little family, and my obsession of kids are getting intense, esp after the grown up Suri Cruise , Zalva's (astrie's) unbearable cuteness , and the shy, 2 years old Khadija (Omar's).

Someday, i'll deliver my kids in a warm water, by a water birth, let them have a nice picnic at a green, clean-aired garden, and stuck their tongue in a snowflakes. is it impossible in Indonesia? No.

I'll let my kids learn to be minorities, just like me, a non-Java-non-Moslem living in Bandung for the rest of my life. When i have my elementary at Catholic- Chinese School, i was learned about how to survived, alienated by my first group of friend, and ended up having them as my friend until my junior high, as my mom let me choose my own path for my senior years and college.

I remembered reading Sri Mulyani's bio printed in the newspaper, telling us that we should appreciate the minorities, that the most valuable lesson in life is dealing and adapt with differences and shock. She let her child, the majorities (Java-Moslem), to life and study abroad, to be a minorities, so they can appreciate others more. Believe me, being a minorities is tough, but, what are we if we can't conquer the world? That've made me as i am now.

So kid(s), even when u are not even a zygote now, and i'm not even married yet, i promise i'll give u the best father in the world, so you can conquer the world, breathe in a clean air, eat the best food, running here and there with the finest clothes and shoes, best school, and travel the world. I promise i'd found you a PhD -potential husband and dad- who'll give you the warmest and the most comfortable feeling in the future.

one more thing : you should try a snowflakes just like Suri :)
