Stepping up her thin soles in the cold stair, she walked towards the greatness glory of capitalism, where all the signboards broadcast all worldly happiness. God is Great, she whispered. Human are great, also. She thinks about all the beauty of God's print in the bluest sky of Bali's beach, and greenest green in the forest of Kalimantan. But in Times Square, she saw the reddest red in a chocolate animated board. She blinked, and indulged her eyes and brain before switch her brain into the shoes of multilateralism.
Nothing special there, beside a bulky fluorescent billboard, and a sweet memories. She was reminiscing something in the exact capital of consumerism which stretched from 42nd st-47th st in an island called Manhattan.
In the exact place, 3 years ago, when everything was naive and sweet. She was standing there, with flying color, a bursting red and rainbow boots.
Now that she goes Monochromatic, so does Manhattan. There's no more MAN in MANhattan.
